Requirements

Before going ahead with this installation, here are a few things you should keep in mind. First, the firmware release for this new Lollipop OS is Russian; however, it will work on any international Galaxy S4. If you are using a carrier-branded S4, you may encounter problems with this manual installation of the Android 5.0.1 Lollipop firmware. Be warned that you are about to disrupt the normal functioning of your device and there are risks involved, so beware of these risks before proceeding.

Also ensure that your phone is fully charged and that USB Debugging Developer options are enabled just in case troubleshooting is required at some stage. Create a backup of your data.
