Everyone was waiting for the official announcement about the Bioshock sequel, but we might have to wait a bit more for that.
The franchise has made a name for itself, and it has become a fan-favorite. The title was released back in 2007, and there were plenty of sequels happening, which have been critically acclaimed throughout the years.
When are we getting the game?
We are all waiting for the game to arrive in the franchise, and 2019 came with a new announcement: a sequel is in the works. We don’t have a clear release date, but we do know that it’s happening. And fans are impatient.
We have learned about a new leak on the internet about the new game. It has been said that the next Bioshock game will be called Bioshock 4 Isolation. We have heard about this before, so it is not really a surprise.
The leak comes from Kyle Borchert. He says that the game will be set in the 1960’s Antarctica, in a city called Borealis. The game also has an internal codename, Parkside, but the game is already known as Isolation, and it will probably be named as such. This game will be connected to the previous three games.
We should take into account the fact that these are rumours, and we should take them with a grain of salt.
The game is delayed
Initially, the leak shows that the game was supposed to be revealed at The Game Awards, but it seems now that it will be released – and revealed – in the latter half of 2022. Many sources have also stated that the game was also rebooted at some point, so this might be one of the reasons why the game has been delayed.
