The trailer for Secrets of Gloomrot, an upcoming free addition for V Rising, has just aired. Now, we’ve got all the information on the update, including its release date. Fans and gamers worldwide have been eager to get a sneak peek at least about any upcoming updates to V Rising since the game’s debut. Eventually, Stunlock Studios launched Secrets of Gloomrot, a pretty decent free expansion.

V Rising was an instant hit among gamers and immediately rose to the top of the platform’s most-played titles after debuting on Steam back in 2022. It also overcame Elden Ring, which is something amazing, to become the most popular Steam game, obviously taking the top place. Now, a trailer showcasing the first details about V Rising: Secrets of Gloomrot has been released, and you can watch it below:

Secrets of Gloomrot’s Official Release Date

Thanks to the trailer, we know that the Secrets of Gloomrot will finally air on May 17. You better mark your calendar for the big event!

Secrets of Gloomrot’s Expected Features

First things first: Gloomrot, a completely new biome, soon ready to be explored,  that is the same size as Dunley Farmlands, will be available. The North and South of Gloomrot appear to be somehow separated from one another. So, practically each place will have its own challenges, mechanics, and, of course, enemies. How cool is that?!

The construction revamp, which looks pretty sleek and enables players to have multi-level castles, was one of the first changes to be made public. The best thing is that there will be no need for ramps outdoors anymore. Instead of that, stairs may be placed everywhere!

Other features will include:

  • new weapon
  • new weapon skills (Greatsword is coming!)
  • legendary weapons
  • new enemy kinds
  • new spell book and school
  • new jewel system
  • Territories

Stay tuned for the big release!
