Samsung Galaxy S6 Active Leaked Images – Better Specs That The Original?

As expected, we have learned new details about the new Active version of Galaxy S6. Samsung has not officially announced tough new phone, but it leaked a few pictures on the internet, without too many details about internal hardware.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active variant will be more resistant to crashes than the standard model and will address a different design, but will try to rise to the performance level of the basic version.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Active doesn’t seem very different from S5 Active. This seems to be made of more resistant materials than Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, giving up the glass construction in favor of a harder material. The pictures show two color options, black and white, both featuring a camouflage pattern on the back cover. The edges are protected by a tough plastic and housing seems to come with screws. Another image, which seems to be a spy photo, shows a black colored casing, with the cover models and AT&T branding.

The front of the smartphone remembers of the standard Galaxy S6, but the rounded corners of the device are now a little sharper. Capacitive buttons “back” and “recently” were made into physical ones and the main “home” gives up the fingerprint reader.

It is not clear whether it will retain the internal hardware of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, so display resolution, processor, amount of RAM and internal storage space are still a mystery. Unofficial information suggesting technical specifications identical to those of Samsung’s flagship, but the only detail components that accompanied the images is the internal battery capacity of 3500 mAh.

We can rely on the fact that Samsung Glaxy S6 Active will be dust and shock resistant and will not have problems when in contact with water. Given the history of Active models launch, perhaps we can expect an official announcement in the coming weeks.
