Samsung Galaxy S Edge vs. Galaxy Note 4 – Benchmark Comparison of the Specs and Features

The Galaxy S Edge is one of the most anticipated devices for 2015.

And the design of the phone, which will feature dual slopped screens, is just one of the reasons. The other reason is the power and the speed of the phone. Judging by the latest leaked results of the AnTuTu benchmark test, the Galaxy S Edge will be a monster of a smartphone.

The Results Comparison

At the AnTuTu benchmark test, the Galaxy Note 4 has long been the best Android phone, with a score of 41,185.33. The Note Edge has a higher score, but other specs are cannot compete with the Note 4. The Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 46,284 points on the AnTuTu test. Just so we can get an idea how powerful and speedy the Galaxy S Edge will be, let’s compare the results. In a leak, the results of a device with a code name SM-G925W8, model expected to be the S Edge, scored 60,978 points. That is a 25% improvement when compared to the Note Edge, in a way the predecessor to the Galaxy S Edge.

Detailed Comparison

When looking further into the results, it is evident that the chipset of the Galaxy S Edge is superior to the one in the Note 4. For example, the chipset produces better results for multitasking (7344 versus 7228), runtime (4172 versus 2217), RAM Speed (3809 versus 3122), 3D (20725 versus 15216) and much more. The only field where the Galaxy Note 4 has an advantage is in RAM Operation, where the device scores 3661 points compared to 3462 points.

The Galaxy S Edge Specs

The rumored specs of the Galaxy S Edge so far include an Exynos 7420 chipset, octa core processor under the hood, accompanied by 3 GB of RAM. The phone will be available in 32, 64 and 128 GB versions. The rear camera is a 20-MP shooter, while the front one is a 5-MP sensor. An interesting fact is that the device will ship with Android 5.0.2 version from the box.
