Nintendo is Going Huge at E3 2015 with Wii U Exclusives and Mobile Games

Nintendo is going to have the best ever event at E3 2015, because unlike any other year, they have witnessed phenomenal success this year with Wii U and 3DS games. Besides, they are stepping into mobile gaming for the first time.

Electronic Entertainment Expo is easily the biggest gaming events of them all, where every developer and publisher does their best to capture the attention of the crowd. While Microsoft and Sony have always had live conferences, Nintendo refrained from doing so. They went to the digital only relay of an announcement which wasn’t so exciting. But, rumors confirm that the company will take center stage this year and will take up their own slot at the E3 Theater to announce a slew of amazing titles for all platforms.

Wii U and 3DS Exclusive Games

The upcoming E3 2015 for Nintendo is going to be all about Wii U and 3DS exclusive games. Just two games, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros single handedly managed to bring the Wii U back to life. Before that, it was just a dying console but they brought it back to life. The power of exclusives is what drives the company to keep strong and helps them compete with big players. While we couldn’t guess the exact titles that will be announced during the conference, it is for sure that there will be a lot of surprises to look forward to. The Legend of Zelda has been postponed to 2016 but there might be a line-up scheduled to get launched before the end of this year.

Mobile Games with DeNA

Nintendo, for the first time, after a lot of discussions, is going to enter the mobile market. The smartphone market is really crowded, but despite all the games out there, they hardly have one like the Donkey Kong or Super Mario. These are exclusive properties that the company plans to launch for smartphones and tablets. Companies like Square Enix, Ubisoft and Electronic Arts have tasted mediocre success on the platform but that doesn’t stop them from making games.

For Nintendo, it is a completely different story, because their games continue to excite players of all age groups and they may have the key to triggering games in the mobile platform. It is going to be a short wait before E3 2015 begins in June. Keep guessing the titles until then and make sure to watch it live.
