WhatsApp Voice Calling Feature Not Activated On Your iPhone? Here’s How To Enable It

The WhatsApp developers have activated the Voice Calling feature on the Android versions, making the iOS users a bit disappointed. However, it seems that the Voice Calling feature is finally rolling out for the iOS users, but you need to update WhatsApp to the latest version.

Using the internet connection, WhatsApp’s Voice Calling feature allows you to make free calls to your WhatsApp friends without paying any fee. However, it is good to know that some iPhone users reported that even after updating their WhatsApp to the latest version they still weren’t able to make Voice Calls to any of their WhatsApp friends.

Why WhatsApp’s Voice Calling feature is not enabled for all iOS devices?

WhatsApp Voice Calling feature is not yet activated on all iOS users globally and this will most likely happen sometime in the upcoming days. However, if you are one of the WhatsApp users that want to activate the Voice Calling feature on their iPhones, then we’re going to tell you about a trick that might enable this feature for you.

Enabling WhatsApp Voice Calling feature on iPhone

First of all, you will need to update WhatsApp to the latest version. After that, ask a friend of yours who has Voice Calling feature enabled to give you a call (it doesn’t matter if he has an Android or iOS device).

After that person calls you on WhatsApp for the first time, you will see a notification and there is a chance that the WhatsApp Voice Calling feature will be activated on your iOS device.

In case the feature is not enabled after your WhatsApp friend calls you, then restart your iPhone. After the iPhone has restarted, open WhatsApp and check again if the Voice Calling button appears next to your profile.

If you don’t see it, then it means that the feature is still not enabled on your device, which means that the last chance is by using a Cydia tweak but you will need to have a jailbroken iOS. In case you have a jailbroken iOS, open Cydia and look for WhatsAppCallEnabler and install it on your device. Then, ask again a WhatsApp friend to give you a call and the feature should be enabled on your iOS device.
