GoPro Hero 4 – Specifications and the Release Date

Brace yourself! The much acclaimed GoPro Hero 4 is set to hit the market soon and for camera lovers, this promises to be a great device if the speculations revolving around the Hero 4 are anything to go by.

GoPro has cemented its place as a world leader in regards to extreme sports and it’s easy to understand why their latest model is causing excitement among tech lovers. Some of the Hero 4 new features that are bound to knock you off your feet include;

1. Compact Size and Advanced Imaging

The GoPro Hero 4 most eye catching feature is its compact size. In addition, the camera has a rugged appearance and is incredibly light at less than 100 grams. This is an action camera that is laced with exceptional attachments for any extreme sport, be it surfing, kite-boarding, ski poles, bikes or anything else that can be in motion.

The Hero 4 boasts of a 13 mega pixel photo sensor and a new lens that is optimized for shooting in low light. Other additional specifications include electronic image stabilization to facilitate free shake video, an enhanced MCTF with sophisticated sharpening and Multi-exposure HDR with tone mapping as well as dual sensor interfaces.

The Remote Viewfinder Playback lets you have a live view of what the GoPro Hero 4 is recording while the double side by side lenses will most likely enable 3D filming.

2. 4K Video Shooting at 30fps
