Dying Light 2 will be released soon, but everyone is talking about its release date. The game was announced some time ago, and it has also been delayed a few times. But now, it’s all ready for next month. And everyone is waiting for the game to be released – but developers have talked about some facts that started a debate.

Developers stated that the game would take about 500 hours to complete. That’s a lot of time – like a lot. Of course, we love a good ol’ expansion, but isn’t that too much content? And wouldn’t it get boring at some point?

The developers then had to explain their decision, saying that in order to complete the main story, you need about 20 hours – which is fair for the title. If you also want to finish the side quests, you will need more than that. But 500 hours?

Well, if you want to remove every icon from the map, then you will need a lot of free time. If you take into account all of the choices, endings, dialogues and collectibles, you will need about 500 hours.

We are glad the developers took their time to clarify the situation. We think 20 hours is a fair amount of time for finishing the main game. But of course, the side quests have their role, as well, so you might want to give them a try, too.

Dying Light 2 is an action role-playing game that was developed and published by Techland. It was first supposed to be released in 2021, but it was delayed numerous times after.  Now, we finally have a clear release date. The game will be released on the 4th of February, 2022. As of now, we’re waiting for more info about the game.
