HTC One M9 – Price and Release Date Leaked

An electronics retailer has leaked the release date and price of the HTC One M9, HTC’s latest flagship unveiled during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The next handset from HTC is highly anticipated by the customers and it seems like the wait will be over soon.

Price and Release Date Rumors

It seems like HTC has a thing for anniversaries and special dates. The leaked photos from the electronics retailer point towards March 25 as the date the HTC One M9 will be released. But that is not just any day. In fact, March 25 is the first anniversary of the launch of the HTC One M8. The retailer doesn’t list shipping time, but the phone will be available for purchase on March 25 at 12 am. If the HTC One M9 becomes available on March 25, the Taiwanese company will beat Samsung for the first flagship released in 2015. Samsung’s devices, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge are scheduled for release in April. As for the price, the retailer lists the HTC One M9 version, available in silver or gold version at $649. The price is in the range previously rumored. The price is for a SIM free 32 GB version.

The HTC One M9 is expected to be one of the top 5 smartphones in 2015. The field is heavily crowded, but the handset does bring great specs and a series of features which others do not posses. In a nutshell, the HTC One M9 is a 5 inch smartphone, with screen resolution set at 1080 x 1920 pixels. Under the hood, the HTC One M9 is powered by the Snapdragon 810, an octa core processor with a clocking speed limited at 2 GHz. The phone comes with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, but users can add extra space via a microSD card. On the rear, HTC has placed a 20-MP sensor for the HTC One M9, while on the front; a 4-MP ultrapixel sensor is responsible for taking selfies.
