Adobe Flash Player 18 Download And Install On Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

]]>

Smartphones are part of our lives and their manufacturers are improving their designs, processors and features, so that the consumers can buy high quality devices which satisfy their needs. Samsung is one of the biggest names in the mobile phone industry, and every year, the company releases a new generation of Galaxy S models – the large variant comes first, then the mini version is released a few months later. However, Google decided to end support for Flash Player in Android Jelly Bean 4.1, and since the Galaxy S5 Mini came loaded with 4.2 KitKat, there is no Flash Player support for it.

The reason why Google decided to withdraw support for the Flash Player is because the company wanted to use alternative sources for showing flash content, but the developers from Adobe continued releasing versions for Android’s newer versions and there are flash players compatible with Android 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and even 5.0 Lollipop.

To install Flash player on your Galaxy S5 Mini, you will need to download the APK file from the internet. If you haven’t upgraded your phone to the latest Android version, you will need to download the right version of Flash Player which is compatible with your OS. By following the steps we’ll mention below, you will install Flash Player on any Android device.

When installing APK files from third party sources (other websites than Google Play), you need to enable an option called Unknown Sources, so go to your device’s Settings App>Security and check the box in front of Unknown Sources. Then search for the right Adobe Flash Player version, download it to your smartphone – or computer (to not consume your mobile data), then copy the APK to your Android device (microSD card). Go to the folder where you’ve copied the APK file and tap on it to install Flash Player. That’s it, now your device will have the Flash Player which you’ll need to view multimedia files embedded into websites.

The Galaxy S5 Mini is the smaller variant of the premium model which was released last year. It has a Super AMOLED screen measuring 4.5inches, which supports 720×1280 pixels resolution, it’s dust and water resistant and has a fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device without entering a passcode. The device is powered by Samsung’s Exynos 3 Quad 3470 quad-core 1.4GHz Cortex-A7 processor, it houses 1.5GB of RAM and the internal memory has a capacity of 16GB, which can be increased up to 64GB. There is an 8MP main camera with LED flash and the front camera is 2.1MP. The battery isn’t huge, only 2100mAH, and it provides 10 hours of talking time over 3G.
