Samsung has finally confirmed a date and time for the next Galaxy Unpacked event. It will take place on the 9th of February, on Wednesday, at 10 AM ET/ 7 AM PT.

The invitation shows a big S letter, together with the words “The Epic Standard.” This indicated that we might see Galaxy S22 series make a debut. But are we really surprised about this? No, not really. Samsung has talked before about a new S-series Ultra device, that’s supposed to be released in February. Many believe it will be better than the Note series.

Of course, there are leaks everywhere on the internet. According to rumors, it seems that the S22 Ultra will come with the S-Pen stylus, and it will have a silo, as well, as Note does. It has also been said that S22 will have a slightly smaller display, at 6.1-inch. S21 had a 6.2-inch panel.

So far, the leaks do not suggest any major features or design changes, but there will be enough upgrades to keep its devices into the flagship class.

If you want to pre-order the next phone from the company, you can do it now. Just like before, you can get $50 of credit for another Samsung Galaxy product, so maybe a free case doesn’t sound so bad.

As of now, there are no official details about the new phone, so we should take them with a pinch of salt.

Samsung president, TM Roh, stated “At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created.” He added that “you will help Samsung rewrite the future of smartphones once again.”
