WhatsApp is finally working on a feature that will please everyone. This new feature might allow you to send your chat history from Android to iOS in no time. This feature was first seen in the WhatsApp beta version 22.2.74 for iOS. It seems to go hand-in-hand with the previous discovery in the beta version 2.21.20.11 for Android. Both of these updates hint at a feature that will allow you to transfer all of your chats from Android to iOS by using a certain app.

The app is called “Move to iOS,” and it allows you to do a secure transfer of plenty of content, from message history, to contacts, to email accounts and photos. After you choose to send the data, the app will create a private Wi-Fi network, and then will look for nearby Android devices. You need to choose the one that’s yours, and then enter a security code, and the transfer will start.

There are screenshots on the internet that show what the feature may look like. They also show that WhatsApp asks for permission before starting the transfer, and it tells you to keep the app open and the phone unlocked.

WhatsApp has initially allowed users to move their chats from iOS to Samsung back in September. Then, they added the feature for Google Pixels and other Android ten devices, as well. If they allow users to transfer chats from Android to iOS, people will be pleased, but do we know which devices will support it?

As of now, we have no details about the feature even being real, so we don’t know when it will be released, either. As these are just rumors on the internet, we need to take them with a pinch of salt.
