Nintendo Ready to Showcase their Mobile Games at E3 2015 and Other Titles

Nintendo had a lukewarm sale in the past but it was all until Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros became a legendary hit on the Wii U console. It instantly made them popular again and the amiibo toys helped them reap more profits.

Microsoft and Sony usually dominate the Electronic Entertainment Expo. But, the E3 2015 which is scheduled to take place in June is going to be all about Nintendo, because the company has the best exclusives when compared to the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. Even their handheld 3DS console has reached great heights and there are titles you can get only on their platforms. Adding to this great run is the fact that Nintendo is planning to finally make their entry into the mobile phone segment and the upcoming event will be all about the games that they are going to launch. DeNA is their mobile partner who will help them port them games or make new ones using their exclusive IPs.

Confirmed Mario and Donkey Kong

Legend of Zelda series may take time before it finds its way to mobile platforms. However, recent reports confirm that Nintendo will launch Mario games on smartphones and tablets. Obviously, the Mario bros are the best characters to make a launch. While most gamers expect that the company will start with the usual endless runner, featuring Mario, inside sources confirm that they don’t want to take such a route.

Instead, a console quality fighter or a kart racing title could be launched. It will be based on existing Wii U games like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros, but with reduced gameplay features as well as graphics. Besides, without a controller, they are never going to be the same. You have to buy a Wii U to enjoy the actual experience and this will be more of a substitute to enjoy on the go.

Other Announcements

The new NFC reader for older Nintendo 3DS consoles will be launched at the E3 2015 event. It will also witness more details about the upcoming Zelda game, and even a Pokemon title is being expected. The last launch Pokemon X and Pokemon Y helped 3DS grow a great market share as well as make some amazing revenue within a short period. Keep your fingers crossed and wait for two months until the conference takes place. It is going to be an exciting time for sure.
