The first phone was released years ago and it’s not an Android-based device, but you can still install WhatsApp on it, because there is a Java version for these types of older devices with screens supporting a minimum resolution of 240x320pixels. The users will need to download two files named WhatsApp_Messenger.jar and WhatsApp_Messenger.jad to their computers, then copy them in the same folder, on the ALCATEL One Touch 3040. Without these two files, they won’t be able to run WhatsApp. The other two models run on Android OS, so you can download the WhatsApp APK file from the Google Play store

The screen is TFT and measures 3.2inches, supporting a resolution of 320×480 pixels with 180 ppi pixel density. The phone has only one camera on the back with a resolution of 3.15MP and lacks LED flash, while the battery is removable and with a capacity of 1300mAh.
Alcatel Touch Pixi 4007
The specifications for this device are: a 3.5inches TFT screen with 320x480pixels and 165ppi, a single-core processor clocked at 1GHz, 256MB of RAM and 512MB of storage, expandable up to 32GB, a mediocre rear camera of 2MP which shoots videos at 480p, the battery is also 1300mAh, and the OS is Android v2.3 (Gingerbread).
After installing WhatsApp on one of these three models, you will need to enter your mobile number in order to verify your account. In the first year, you will use WhatsApp for free, but then you will pay an annual fee of 0.99 dollars.
