Taking down an enraged Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, is one of the biggest challenges that Goku and Vegeta could ever face. The buffed-up Saiyan has been brought back in the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie that came out in 2018, proving to all that there can be a different version than the original Broly from the ’90s.

In the 2018 movie, Akira Toriyama’s own version of Broly has proposed a character that has a much different and more realistic motivation than what the original Broly had. Instead of going after Goku because the beloved Saiyan was crying too much as a baby, the new Broly wanted to confront Vegeta. That’s because King Vegeta, the father of the Saiyan Prince, exiled Broly long ago to a different planet, just because he couldn’t stand the fact that Broly was much stronger than Vegeta.

After the Broly movie from 2018, the Legendary Super Saiyan also appeared in the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie from 2022, as well as in new manga chapters, igniting the imagination of a fan who wanted to bring his own version of the new battle between Goku and Broly.

Broly trains with Goku under the rod of Whis

In the latest Dragon Ball Super movie, we can see Goku training alongside Broly on Beerus’ planet, and while they are being supervised by Whis. While we couldn’t see almost anything interesting in the movie, the manga chapter has been more diligent. However, a fan brought its own version of this fight, and it looks amazing:

Broly didn’t have any manners whatsoever, but even so, he wasn’t exactly a villain. He lived in the wilderness of a desolate planet for many years of his life, which is why he lacks any civilized ways. Even so, any Dragon Ball fan can agree that Broly is easily one of the strongest characters in the entire Dragon Ball franchise.
