A Battlefield 2042 dataminer has found some new images about the in-game store in Patch 4.0. This means that the game might get an update before it gets any new playable content!
Battlefield 2042 wasn’t the game that people were excited about, even though there were a lot of great trailers. People haven’t been happy with the game since the day it came out, and it hasn’t gotten any better in the five months since it came out.
So far, Battlefield 2042 has had four major updates. Even though the developers have fixed some of the problems, fans aren’t happy with the way the game is right now.
As of right now, no new playable content is set to arrive in the game anytime soon. Developers tell us that nothing else is coming this year, and that, until summer, we aren’t getting anything else new. However, it looks like the in-game store and Battle Pass might come first.
What about this Battle Pass?
This dataminer has recently shared a picture of the new in-game store of the game which he had previously found. In the files that were added to the game with the 4.0 Update, he has also found some interesting things.
In Battlefield 2042, it’s not clear when DICE will announce that the in-game store will be open, but since the game has already been given a lot of files, we can assume that the developers are going to put in the Battle Pass and in-game store first, then deal with other stuff. It remains to be seen what will happen.
Battlefield 2042 is now available to play on PS4 and PS5 as well as on Xbox One and PC. The game hasn’t been added to the EA Play service yet.
