WhatsApp is an application that evolved a lot since February 2014, when it was bought by Facebook. We’re pretty sure that one year ago, nobody thought that the developers will bring a feature that will allow them to call their friends for free, using the internet connection, but that happened in February 2015.
The developers are continuously working on this application, trying to bring more new features in order to keep their users’ interest level high. For example, there is the Viber application, that has the Voice Calling feature, but in addition it supports Video Calling, and we’re pretty sure that many WhatsApp users would like to call their friends and see their faces.
The developers of WhatsApp will need to bring sooner or later the Video Calling feature to their application, if they want to keep their users. Let’s not forget that WhatsApp has over 800 million active users, which makes it one of the most used mobile messaging applications out there.
WhatsApp 2.12.157: What’s new?
The new WhatsApp 2.12.157 BETA version that just got released doesn’t come with any new feature. The installation file (APK) has been increased by only 10KB from the previous WhatsApp 2.12.151 BETA version. It seems that the developers worked only on improving something to the application and fixed some bugs that they’ve found.
When the developers released the WhatsApp 2.12.151 version we’ve told you that there we’ve noticed a lot of files changing into the Google Drive feature that’s about to come. We’re pretty sure that this feature will be released during this week along with the racial emojis.
