Melt Bar and Grilled
Lakewood's Melt Bar and Grilled will be featured on tonight's installment of 'the Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives'.
This is the latest airing of an episode of the widely watched cable television program to feature a Cleveland-area restaurant. Last summer, Fieri taped footage at Lucky's Cafe, Parkview Nightclub, Momocho, and Sterle's Slovenian House, all in Cleveland, as well as Geraci's restaurant in University Heights.
Melt owner Matt Fish says he would like to believe he knows what he's in for but admits that merely bracing himself might not be quite enough.
"We could be absolutely slammed with customers," Fish says. "The folks from Lucky and Geraci's have all said, 'You think you're busy now, you don't even know what you've got coming your way.' " By merely listing the restaurant on its Web site, Food Network generated loads of attention for Melt, Fish says.
"We've had people from other parts of the country come in to check us out. It's amazing," he says.
