Mike Greenberg Says Martin Luther ‘Coon’
Mike Greenberg of the popular ESPN sport talk show Mike and Mike in the Morning appears to have used a racial slur this morning, thanking listeners for joining them on "Martin Luther Coon" day. As soon as he said 'coon', Greenberg quickly changed it to 'King' without missing a beat.
While major news outlets have yet to report on the situation, the video has been posted on many blogs and video sites all over the Internet. The video is actually made from a hand held camera, making it more difficult for it to be searched on and taken down by ESPN.
Mike Greenberg was caught calling Martin Luther King Jr. a "coon". Coon is an insulting term for a black man and Greenberg miraculously related King for "coon".
